The binders I made for my Spellbinders are approximately 5.5 x 8 in. I adhered the magnetic sheets to old cardboard and them covered them with regular weight (not cardstock) patterned paper.

Believe it or not, the CD boxes DO come with the sleeves (and you can store on both sides of each sleeve) so that makes them an even better price. I think there are 40 sleeves in each box. I just cut a piece of the magnetic sheet to fit in the CD holder to put the dies on, and then cut out the front part of the packaging to put on the front side of the sleeve so that I can see what the dies look like. I have all of my basic shapes (squares, circles, ovals, etc.) in one box and my labels and other shapeabilities in another box. And although I have lots and lots of dies, I still have room to grow in both boxes.

Nice hearing from a fellow Arizonan. I am hoping to ask you a few questions, if you don't mind.

I had previously seen the video on youtube that you used as inspiration for your beautiful binders for the larger dies. Can you tell me the size of your binders and if you sandwiched your magnetic sheets between cardstock weight paper or text weight paper? I am excited about purchasing the magnetic sheets from Home Depot as the 8.5 x11" sheets purchased from Michael's do not seem strong enough so the larger dies do not always hold well. I am concerned that adding paper or cardstock on top will lessen the hold even more. That is also why I am asking about cardstock weight paper and text weight paper.

I also love your use of the cd/dvd sleeves and container for the smaller dies. Some of the sets, particularly flower and flourish dies come with many small dies. I have been trying to figure out a way to avoid losing the smaller parts and your idea seems perfect. I followed the link and the box is very reasonably priced. I really like that the sleeves can be pulled out as you need them. Does the storage box come with the sleeves? I suspect it does not but I am not certain which holders I should order for the box. Can you provide some assistance? I will truly appreciate it.

As a side note, I live in Arizona also but I am on the east side of the valley in Queen Creek. My son and his family lived in Surprise for about 4 years before moving to Gilbert so I haven't been to Surprise in awhile. I am sure it has grown considerably.

I appreciate your crafting ideas and your blog. I look forward to hearing from you when you have a moment.
Thank you so much.
Sandra SmithSandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01979760351192953287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4870321727907832769.post-57465262451658104092012-10-24T15:59:08.832-07:002012-10-24T15:59:08.832-07:00I found this once before and forgot to mark it.
